Inessa Galante's performance of the hauntingly beautiful Caccini's "Ave Maria" on her DEBUT album started a worldwide surge of interest in the piece. A single play on TV in Holland led to a Platinum Disc in that country. As a direct result of success of DEBUT the Caccini "Ave Maria" was recorded first by Lesley Garrett, then a host of other international artists including Charlotte Church, Andrea Bocelli, Sumi Jo and a cello version by Julian Lloyd Webber. However Inessa Galante's performance is still the one which most overwhelms listeners worldwide with its beauty.
